A high gain monster with an even frequency response and awesome harmonics. The low end response stays tight even when de-tuned and heavily distorted. The output of both neck and bridge is high enough to drive the amp hard into a compressed distortion, but retains an organic tone that is never clinical or harsh.
Probably the best pickup in the world for chugging down tuned riffs, thick screaming lead tones and high gain amps. Who needs active pickups?
